Cars have different properties small cars handle better and can jump higher, trucks are sturdier and can withstand more damage. There's a limited amount of cars, and using them to run over zombies will break them eventually so sometimes just avoiding them is better. To prevent ruining your engine hit them with the door by holding. Running down zombies will damage the car. The easiest, fastest and safest way to handle big groups of zombies. If you gain enough shooting experience there's a "slow-motion" special skill which will make headshots easier. If you can't get a clear shot, shooting them in the body first will slow them down making the headshot easier. Always carry two melee weapons in case one starts to break and fix them when you can.Īs in all zombie movies, aim for the head. The blunt weapons kill slower and the heavy weapons possibly knocks over more zombies but are slooooooow to use. The best melee weapons in the game are the edged weapons. For example: specializing in the "edged weapon" skill tree will earn you a fighting move that beheads a zombie, a one-hit-kill which takes a little time to perform but is extremely useful. Leveling up your fighting skill with a particular type of weapon will give you the chance to specialize in that weapon. Until you get silencers, they cause more problems than they solve. At least in the beginning of the game, I don't find myself using them much.
Learn to fight, dodge and how to use the killing moves early on.
Always carry medicine with you and try not to let your health get below 50%. Eat some snacks or try finding a safe spot to regain stamina. When your stamina's depleted you will fight and run MUCH slower.
